	23rd Floor, Wells Fargo Building 299 S Main Street, Salt Lake City, UT   visit their website Whether an elegant wedding or upscale corporate event, the Wells Fargo 23rd Floor offers something for everyone. The beautiful views and variety of room options makes the 23rd Floor the perfect setting for so many occasions. The fabulous 23rd Floor Atrium was the setting for this nouveau wedding and reception. The bride wore a stunning orange gown, while the groom was decked out in a traditional tux. All eyes were on this enchanting couple who gave love a second chance! This wedding showcases the new hors d'oeuvre style of "small plates" - smaller portions, artfully displayed in unique individual presentations.
	Abravanel Hall 123 West South Temple, Salt Lake City, UT   visit their website Located in the heart of downtown Salt Lake, this venue is a must see for all city visitors. The magnificent Chihuly Olympic Tower of Flame is visible through the all-glass entrance. This is a very elegant venue with a gold-leaf staircase and rich green carpets. The lower lobby and the 1st tier room are both available for rent singly, or together for a larger event. Venue capacity is 250 seated or 600 for receptions.
	Alumni House University of Utah, 155 South Central Campus Drive, Salt Lake City, UT   visit their website The Alumni House is centrally located on the University of Utah campus and can be a nice setting for weddings of 300 or corporate dinners for 100. Groups often use the living room area for guest reception and cocktail hour, while the dining room can serve for the buffet and formal part of the evening. With a full commercial kitchen on site, there is no limit to the scrumptious food that can be served with ease.
	Clark Planetarium 110 South 400 West, Salt Lake City, UT   visit their website This is a Salt Lake gem full of activities from Star Shows, Laser Shows, Imax Theater, planetary exhibits, and interactive activities. There are a variety of spaces so groups can choose to rent a portion of the venues or buy out the entire space for lots of room and movement. We have catered groups from as little as 35 to groups of 600 at this convenient downtown location.
	Club Vortex 404 South West Temple, Salt Lake City, UT   visit their website There's nothing else like the Vortex! We first discovered this venue when we were hunting for the perfect spot for Sports Illustrated Olympic Mega Parties in 2002. We packed up to 1700 distinguished guests into this high-energy club on almost every night of The Games. The Vortex has 3 unique levels that can be rented singly or all together, as well as a summer patio. Dancing, music, bar, and great food - what else could you ask for!
	Discovery Gateway 444 West 100 South Salt Lake City, UT   visit their website Discover your inner child at the brand new Discovery Gateway children's museum. 	Fort Douglas 110 South Fort Douglas Blvd. Salt Lake City, UT   visit their website Conveniently located next to the University of Utah campus, Fort Douglas offers a variety of large and small rooms for weddings, business meetings, or just about any gathering. The rental rates are very reasonable and include tables and chairs. Alcohol allowed. Contact one of their helpful venue managers for some welcome personal attention.
	Gallivan Center 239 South Main Street, Salt Lake City, UT   visit their website An outdoor venue of a grand scale, rent the entire plaza or a just a portion to suit your needs. Located in the heart of Salt Lake's downtown within easy assess to all hotels, the Gallivan Center is home to summer concerts and winter ice skating.
	Hale Center Theatre 3333 South Decker Lake Drive, West Valley City, UT   visit their website What could be better than to treat your guests to an amazingly scrumptious dinner from Culinary Crafts followed by a wonderful play at the Hale Center Theatre? This venue is a perfect, intimate location for corporate groups of 30-80. Well equipped for luncheons and dinners, the Hale Center Theatre does not permit alcohol. 	Jewish Community Center 2 North Medical Drive, Salt Lake City, UT   visit their website Culinary Crafts had the privilege of catering the "Brothers Sitting Together" event at the JCC where prominent leaders from the Jewish and Mormon communities shared what was a unique and historic event; a chance to bridge differences and get to know each other better. This venue has it all. A grand formal room with seating for 350, breathtaking views of the valley, outdoor patio entertaining, sports activities, and a pool and tennis area with enough room for a party of 5,000! Located next to the University of Utah, the JCC is close to downtown and available to rent for any occasion to all groups, both corporate and private.
	Johnson Mill 100 Johnson Mill Road, Midway, UT   visit their website One of Utah's best keep secrets is this charming bed and breakfast with a swan-filled pond, spacious garden lawns, decking, and it's own working waterfall mill. Every wedding I have catered at this inviting venue lasts well into the night as guests are slow to leave this perfect setting complete with mountain views and old-world farm house. The owner, Bob Johnson, is a delightful host and you'll want to reserve a room for the night just to have their scrumptious breakfast in the morning!
	Kimball Arts Center 638 Park Ave. Park City, UT   visit their website Looking for a sexy Park City Location? This sheek art gallery is a trendy spot to host a variety of events from wedding receptions to formal dinners to sophisticated cocktail parties. The Kimball seems like a second home to Culinary Crafts as we spend every January catering the VIP events for the prestigious Sundance Film Festival at the venue. One of the things I like best about the Kimball is it's versatility with the large main gallery, the intimate bar gallery, the expanded casual downstairs space, and the outdoor patio overlooking Park City's main street. A sure-fire hit for the most discriminating guests!
	Living Planet Aquarium 725 East 10600 South, Sandy, UT   visit their website This is one of the few venues in the South part of the valley, and the staff is a delight to work with. With the interesting aquatic tanks and displays, corporate guests not only enjoy networking and dining, but also have the added benefit of built-in entertainment! 	Memorial House P.O. Box 28, Salt Lake City, UT   visit their website Located in the beautiful Memory Grove park just North of Temple Square, the Memorial House offers a quaint old-world charm with its historic building and grounds. Formal seating is available for up to 150 and receptions allow for up to 300. This venue is a perfect choice for wedding luncheons, receptions, and intimate formal dinners.
	MUAH 125 South Main Street, Salt Lake City, UT   visit their website The Museum of Utah Art and History, located downtown on Main Street, is one of Salt Lake City's newest and most beautiful venues for weddings, private parties and corporate events. The Great Hall is a 1913 Beaux-Arts style space complete with coffered ceiling, stained glass, murals and a mezzanine to dazzle and delight guests.
	Noah's Multi-Use Event Center 644 North 2000 West, Lindon, UT   visit their website Noah's in Lindon is Utah County's newest and most versatile venue. Situated between the point of the mountain and Provo, it is the perfect location for events from Draper to Payson. One of the few Utah County venues with an outdoor garden attached to an indoor facility, Noah's is a good fit for weddings, rehearsal dinners, family gatherings, and corporate meetings. The rich dark wood conference rooms, theater rooms, racquetball courts, and massage rooms keep visitors busy with every imaginable activity. You have to see this one to believe it!
	Olympic Cauldron Museum at Rice-Eccles 451 South 1400 East, Salt Lake City, UT   Located adjacent to the University of Utah Rice Eccles Stadium, the museum is an exciting Olympic location with seating for 150 at formal tables or a stand-up reception for 250. The outdoor plaza is a huge space which can easily accommodate a group of 1500-2000. The plaza is the permanent location of the Olympic Flame and dozens of interesting Olympic exhibits. This venue can be used separately or in conjunction with the Rice Eccles Stadium Tower.
	Pierpont Place 163 West Pierpont Avenue, Salt Lake City, UT   visit their website Salt Lake City's coolest new venue is the hot spot for downtown events. The spacious loft-like setting works for everything from contemporary corporate events to chic urban weddings. The venue will easily accommodate 300 guests for a seated dinner and 600 for a cocktail reception. 	Red Butte Garden 300 Wakara Way, Salt Lake City, UT   visit their website Salt Lake's best outdoor garden venue for afternoon evening strolls along its beautiful paths. The Orangerie building allows for events in inclement weather and seats 150 guests indoors. The adjacent lush patios make this the perfect reception center with a breathtaking view of the city. Open receptions for up to 400.
	Rice-Eccles Stadium and Olympic Cauldron Plaza 451 South 1400 East, Salt Lake City, UT   visit their website The possibilities here are endless! The Olympic Cauldron Plaza is the home to the 2002 Olympic Cauldron Torch and Museum. The outdoor plaza can accommodate up to 1500 guests with easy overflow onto the stadium levels for an even larger event. The 4th, 5th, and 6th, floors of the stadium tower are available for indoor events and flow well from the outdoor area, with seating for up to 400 on each level. The best part of this venue is the view. Ceiling to floor glass allows for the "Best View" in the city.
	Rose Sachs Gardens Parley's Canyon, Salt Lake City, UT   visit their website Rose Sachs Gardens is a hidden treasure at the mouth of Parley's Canyon. This venue is the perfect spot for the event seeking a breathtaking mountain setting, red rock cliffs, lush mountain greens and a beautiful waterfall to top it all off. Private tours are available at this unique and exquisite venue.
	Rose Wagner Theater 138 West 300 South, Salt Lake City, UT   visit their website This great downtown location is an often overlooked venue for convention, corporate, and wedding events. We recently hosted a convention cocktail event for Hyatt's International Event Planners, with 450 guests. The event featured butler-passed hors d'oeuvres, trendy vertical buffets, and martini ice slides with full bars. The large Rose Room downstairs can seat 300 for a plated dinner. The theater offers 3 levels of flow, with the elegance of a theater and the contemporary design of an artistic venue. I highly recommend this venue as a versatile gem in close proximity to every downtown stop.
	Salt Lake City Public Library 210 East 400 South, Salt Lake City, UT   visit their website On this elegant evening, even the guests were color-coordinated with the "Black, White and Re(a)d All Over" theme. Event organizers asked Culinary Crafts to come up with something new - wanting the guests to mingle and socialize rather than sit at a table for the entire evening. Vertical buffets stations on two floors of the library offering delicious items such as Chicken Cordon Bleu with Raspberry Chutney, Roasted Corncakes with Spicy Mango Salsa and Cilantro Creme, and Sesame Ginger Chicken with Papaya and Avocado kept guests happily on the move.
	Salt Lake County Equestrian Center 10800 South 2200 West, South Jordan, UT   visit their website Where can you hold a rodeo and real life western experience for a large group? A fabulous new venue has opened to local corporate and international convention groups. Located 30 minutes from downtown Salt Lake, this is a true cowboy experience complete with horses, bulls, chuck wagon grub, and festive saloon girls. The illustrious event for 3000 guests flowed perfectly at this venue, with plenty of room for bus parking, large open bars, and cowboy hats for everyone. Wouldn't you like to have been a guest at this one? Guests enjoyed authentic BBQ beef brisket, smoked mountain trout, "kick it up" macaroni and cheese, and roving hawker trays of scrumptious homemade cookies!
	Salt Lake Hardware Building 155 N 400 W, Salt Lake City, UT   Located downtown just 1 block north of the Gateway, this historic building is perfect for corporate, convention, and trendy weddings. The interior of the building has a 4 story open atrium with a great "New York Retro Loft" look and feel. The space can be used as one large area or easily petitioned into cocktail and dinner areas. Seated dinners for 200 or reception style for 600. A true overlooked gem in Salt Lake's downtown scene!
	TalonsCove Golf Club 2220 South TalonsCove Drive, Saratoga Springs, UT   visit their website The Women In Philanthropy Gala was hosted at TalonsCove in Saratoga Springs Golf Course. TalonsCove's amazing views and location between Utah and Salt Lake counties make is a great location for parties with guests on either side of the point of the mountain. I love working with the event planners at this country club as they are open to outside catering and willing to work with me and my creative ideas for the large inside event room and the wonderful outside garden space. The possibilities and size of events are endless depending on the time of year and style of service. I was the Chair Woman of the Women In Philanthropy Gala and TalonsCove was my first choice to host this prestigious evening.
	This is the Place Heritage Park 2601 East Sunnyside Avenue, Salt Lake City, UT   visit their website Treat your guests to an authentic western pioneer experience at This Is the Place Heritage Park - a fabulous outdoor venue for large groups wanting a mesquite barbecue, from hot dogs to sea bass. Indoor accommodations are available in the venue's great pioneer homes, for groups up to 200. Alcohol allowed. Complimenting the unique history and compelling location of This is the Place is the wonderful experiencing of working with the venue's event coordinator, Cliff - he will assist you in every step of the planning process. "Jefferson / Jackson" Democratic Event: Election years always bring a flurry of events such as this high-energy gathering of 500 guests at "This Is The Place" Bowery Pavilion. The day started off with 2 VIP receptions for the Democratic Who's-Who's of Utah followed by a Down Home Western BBQ. Our chefs created quite a show with their on-site grilling and our home-made food is always a sure crowd pleaser. The compliments are still coming as our guests raved "we didn't know Utah Barbecue could be this good"!
	Union Pacific Depot 400 West South Temple, Salt Lake City, UT   As one of Utah's most historic and prestigious venues, the Union Pacific Depot is perfect for convention, wedding, and corporate events. I love how the space has so many options for set up...whether it is a "Utah" themed party, an elegant formal dinner, or a large wedding with dancing and fun, there are dozens of layouts to create the perfect atmosphere. The large stained glass mural windows tells the famous story of "East Meets West" at Utah's Golden Spike and the turn-of-the century flooring and ticket windows are the real deal! 	University Guest House 110 South Fort Douglas Boulevard, Salt Lake City, UT   visit their website The University Guest House and Conference Center has facilities that can serve many purposes. Business conferences, banquets, and audio-visual presentations can be held in a variety of locations, including the Post Theater and the Officer's Club, to name just a few. For weddings, this venue offers a charming chapel and many options for receptions, including the elegant Commander's House or outdoors on the expansive lawn. All the facilities were renovated for the 2002 Olympic Winter Games - yet have maintained their historic charm.
	Utah Museum of Fine Arts 410 Campus Center Drive, Salt Lake City, UT   visit their website Located 5 minutes from downtown on the U of U campus, the museum offers a beautiful contemporary room which seats up to 300 or allows for a 700 person reception. The beauty of this venue is unique, with a wide variety of fine art coupled with spacious architecture. Weddings and corporate events are welcome here.
	Utah Olympic Oval 5662 South 4800 West (Cougar Lane), Kearns, UT   visit their website This is the best place going for large events. The oval can handle events for up to 5000 people with ease, but is also well-suited to more intimate events of 50. Guests always leave smiling because of the venue's many available activities, including ice skating, bungee, curling, hockey shot and more. The Olympic Speed Skaters are big a hit. as is the Children's International Performing Choir. Guests thrill to enter to the Olympic Promenade Music as they receive their own "Olympic Gold Medal." Here's the perfect time to pass our signature Olympic Gold Medal Martini or Wasatch Brewery 2002 Olympic Ale. A variety of dining experiences can be created, from formal served dinners, to chef-action stations, to an old west barbecue.
	Utah Olympic Park 3000 Bear Hollow Drive, Park City, UT   visit their website There's nothing like treating your guests to the tops of the mountain in the heart of Utah's Olympic heritage. This venue offers a myriad of entertaining options from the Women's Start House to the all-glass room of the museum's 3rd floor. The Flying Ace show is always a hit. No matter how many times I see this show, I get a rush as the athletes fly off their jumps and land in the pool below. Whether your group is 30 or 3000, this is a fabulous venue!
	Utah State Fairpark 155 North 1000 West, Salt Lake City, UT   visit their website OC Tanner's Holiday Christmas Party is always the highlight of the year for this company. Their employees look forward to new menus, new decor, and new entertainment...that always has to outshine the year before. This year the party was held at the Grand Ballroom of the State Fairgrounds. Scenemakers transformed the room to a rich setting with coppers, bronzes, chocolates, and gold. Guests were greeted with passed hors d'oeuvres, artisan cheeses and tapanades and 4 glistening ice sculptures with overflowing shrimp--the President's favorite! The dining room featured 4 double-sided buffets with pre-set salads and bread. Bite-size dessert gems were served to the tables as guests enjoyed the comedy show of Jason Hewlett. The perfect evening!
	Wheeler Historic Farm 6351 South 900 East, Salt Lake City, UT   Wheeler Farm offers not only a spectacular indoor venue with the warm and inviting barn space, the outdoor landscape is perfect for Spring and Summer weddings with its open lawns and mature trees. It's not every day we get the opportunity to plan a fabulous 40th birthday party! Bridgette's husband Brit and his sisters had a vision of whimsy and elegance, fun and sophistication, and plenty of tiny pin-on buttons! We used vibrant colors and florals along with personalized buttons designed by Heidi to create the atmosphere. Guests were invited to a gorgeous tent on the green at Wheeler Farm where they were greeted by a tall Cherry blossom Tree on which they hung small paper blossoms scripted with meaningful tributes. The aroma of freshly prepared dishes filled the tent where our chefs were the "live, action" centerpiece! Asian to go containers filled with a variety of candies as well as a fun assortment of tiny little buttons were offered as favors and the afternoon was filled with heart felt devotionals and genuine gratitude. Overall, this truly was a celebration of a life well lived- filled with fun, generosity and plenty of love! Thank you Server family for allowing me to be a part of this truly joyous occasion!
