Parrish Wedding

Monday, February 15th, 2010

It has been several years since Culinary Crafts catered this wedding but it is still one of my favorites.  It was held in the magnificent Parrish home and their 3 story ballroom.  Shala was a delightful bride and I loved assisting with all the planning for this special couple and celebration.  Featuring: Butler-passed Maple Glazed Salmon, Home-made Gelato cones, drink station, Flaming Crepes, Ice Sculptures with Shrimp and Fruit…to name just a few of the delicacies.  Enjoy,  Mary

Prunus are a genus of flowering trees and shrubs that bloom mostly in shades of white to pink. Cherry, Plum, Almond are among this variety and can make a big dramatic statement when included in springtime floral arangements. I love  the organic look of twisted branches of flowering Dogwood in bloom in vivid pinks and white. And keep in mind that many of these delightful species are locally grown and provide a great big punch without knocking out your floral budget.

Till next time

Best Regards

2009 Wedding Show

Thursday, January 29th, 2009

 Hi bloggers -

In case you didn’t make it to the 2009 Wedding Show in Salt Lake City, we thought you might like to see some photos we took of the absolutely gorgeous Culinary Crafts booth.  Shimmering with gold linens,  the  presentation featured beautiful table settings, an assortment of delicious small plate appetizers and desserts,  and a totally cool (pun intended) ice sculpture table top with fresh flowers. Enjoy the show!
