Every wedding I have catered at this inviting venue lasts well into the night as guests are slow to leave this perfect setting complete with mountain views and old-world farm house. The owner, Bart Johnson, is a delightful host and you'll want to reserve a room for the night just to have their scrumptious breakfast in the morning!

Culinary Crafts and the Swaner Eco Center is a match made in heaven. Our commitment to earth-friendly practices and local artisan products is a good fit to Swaner's mission of eco-education and wetlands preservation. Swaner is Utah's first certified "green" building set on the 1200 acre nature preserve at Kimball Junction. You can see from our opening event at the Swaner, it is a beautiful building with the perfect mix of Utah mountain and contemporary chic. We greeted guests in the open lobby with demi plate hors d'oeuvres featuring local cucumbers, tomatoes, and smoked trout. We designed a Swaner signature cocktail "The Red Fox" featuring Utah's "High West Vodka 7000". Wow! What a hit! In the main gallery, our chef action stations enticed guests to dine on some of Utah's bountiful harvest. Heirloom Tomatoes with Balsamic Splash and EVO on our artisan sourdough bread....Roasted Utah Corn and White Truffle Mashed Potatoes with Pulled Utah Pork...Harvest of Peaches Shortcakes and Dairy Cream. Are you hungry yet? Up in the 3rd floor bird's nest observatory, we offered an organic wine tasting and samples of Utah's best artisan cheeses. The front plaza and amphitheater is a great outdoor venue for up to 1000 guests. Seating for 250 inside the eco-center. The 60 foot pier and platform is the perfect place for viewing the preserve...or tying the knot! Weddings, corporate, social, and conventions will love this new innovative venue. This venue offers a myriad of entertaining options from the Women's Start House to the all-glass room of the museum's 3rd floor. The Flying Ace show is always a hit.
