The Grand Hall at the Gateway is an elegant historic hall complete with murals of pioneer life, marble floors, and dramatic high arched ceiling. A perfect place for a formal dinner banquet or cocktails and hors d’oeuvres—it never fails to impress. The Main Venue at the Depot is perfect for a large scale “rock ‘n’ roll” corporate party. Event planners love this location for anything needing a stage and lighting. The music hall is located on the venue’s second and third floors, with total seating capacity for 1,200 and a bar in the back of the hall.
The upscale Blue Goose private dining room and the former Baxters restaurant space can also be rented. These are true multi-functional rooms – perfect for weddings, corporate cocktail parties and social occasions, they seat up to 300.
When rented in combination, the venues of Salt Lake’s historic Union Pacific Depot can accommodate groups of up to 3,000 people.
