3-Ingredient Alfredo Sauce

By

Alfredo sauce is a staple pasta sauce. You can try this recipe out and adjust to taste as much as you want! Switch out the cheese, add more garlic, etc. And it's super easy to make, there's only a few ingredients! 3-Ingredient Alfredo Sauce 012 Ingredients Directions Start the pan on medium high heat and add a little bit of olive oil. Then add your garlic and sauté in your pan. If you want to add onions or peppers, this is when you'd add it! alfredo-blog-1 To go an extra mile, mince your own garlic! Just add the garlic cloves with a little bit of olive oil into a food processor. This will give your dish a lot more flavor. After the garlic is brown, add your cream into the pot. Make sure the pan isn't too hot because you don't want the cream to burn. alfredo-blog-2 Now add the salt and pepper. Don't be afraid to add lots of pepper! That's the key to a good Alfredo sauce. Whisk together. Whisk continuously and simmer until the mixture coats the back of a spoon. alfredo-blog-3 Now add your cheese. It's typically made with Parmesan but we used Asiago here. Add cheese until the desired thickness of sauce. Some people like it thinner and some like it thicker. Make sure to whisk your cheese in a lot. If you don't, it won't melt enough and you'll get chunks of cheese. alfredo-blog-5 Simmer and stir until you obtain your desired consistency. Then you're done! Pour over a bowl of pasta and enjoy! alfredo-blog-6 Check out more Salt Lake City, Park City, and Utah County catering at www.culinarycrafts.com alfredo-pinterest
