A Bright & Bold Brunch Inspiration Shoot: THE FOOD!!!

By

As promised, today I am sharing our food that Culinary Crafts created for this GORGEOUS brunch inspiration shoot!  We really wanted to create something different (and delicious!) and decided that a small plates approach was the PERFECT fit!  This is totally a big trend right now and we love how small plates allow you to serve your guest a variety of dishes, without them feeling overstuffed and unable to try everything!  Plus, it just looks so PRETTY!  Check it out! Food_Bright&BoldBrunch2 Aren't these menus and the tablescape awesome?!  Thanks to the amazing styling by Attention 2 Detail Events, fabulous floral design by Flowers by Adrien, and the stunning paper suite by Pro Digital Photos! Not to mention the gorgeous photos by Kristina Curtis Photography! Food_Bright&BoldBrunch Our very own Mary Crafts-Homer taking care of the final touches before the shoot begins! Food_Bright&BoldBrunch3 Sigh.  Now THIS is a breathtaking table! Food_Bright&BoldBrunch5 We created three small plates and as well as two beverages.  I mean, how excited would you be to get to be a guest at this table?  I know I would be thrilled! Food_Bright&BoldBrunch4 Our first plate was our small plate approach to a breakfast favorite: Steak N' Eggs!  This divine dish was a Cornbread Waffle, Locally Farmed Steak, Frizzled Leeks, drizzled with Chimichurri all topped with a Fried Quail Egg.  Yum! Food_Bright&BoldBrunch6 Next we have a simply CUTE pancake platter!  This miniature Whole Wheat Nutmeg Pancake Stack was topped with a single blueberry and accompanied by a cube of Himalayan Pink Salted Butter and House-Made Cinnamon Cream Syrup and garnished with a Fresh Lime Wedge.  Cute and delectable! Food_Bright&BoldBrunch7 I bet these two couldn't wait for the shoot to be over so they could dig in to the delish eats! :) Food_Bright&BoldBrunch8 Lastly, we have a sweet end to this fabulous meal!  Not only did we serve a sweet Raspberry Mocktail Shooter with Fresh Berries, but no meal is complete without dessert! These Mini Old-Fashioned Buttermilk Donuts with Milk & Pink Sugar Frosting were served with a cup of Amano Hot Chocolate, House Made Toasted Vanilla Marshmallow, and Garnished with Candied Orange Zest.  So good! We had such a great time planning for this inspiration shoot and couldn't be more thrilled with how it all came together!  We hope this inspires you to consider a small plates approach to your event - I guarantee it will please ANY guest!  Happy planning everyone!
