Beauty and Her Feast Editorial Shoot!

By

Today, we are showcasing this simply romantic editorial shoot we did that you may have seen in Utah Valley Bride magazine as well as our new bridal ad!  We love our Beauty and Her Feast menu and the spectacular vendor team put together an AMAZINGLY gorgeous shoot!  Check it out! This beautiful tablescape was captured perfectly by Heather Nan Photography, don't you think?!   Plus, isn't this setting so dreamy? Love The rentals from Diamond Rental were so elegant and added a textural element to the table that we loved.  Plus, the paper goods from Ann Elizabeth Print Studio were so lovely.  The hand torn edges and wax seal on the menus were such a great element that took them over the top! We loved these simple Short Rib Lettuce Wraps on golden plates - So pretty and delicious!  Plus, of course we had to have a cocktail that tied into the palette so we created this Hibiscus Rose Cocktail with Hibiscus Tea, Rose Hips, Vodka, and Ginger Beer! Next, our salad course was a hearty Blood Beet Greens Salad with Sorrel, Roasted Beets, Goat Cheese, Oranges, Pistachios, and a Citrus Vinaigrette.  Earthy and complex, we also loved the way this plate tied in with the table's colors! Next, our fish course was a Butter-Poached Red Trout with Israeli Couscous and Roasted Peppers.  Light and beautiful!  Plus, don't you love our black tie service?  What a way to make your event feel elegant and high end! Of course, with a decadent plated menu, we love serving an intermezzo course.  In the summer months, our house made Blood Orange Sorbet is perfect for cleansing your palette AND cooling off your guests!  Love it! Next, our entree course was a Pork Saltimbocca with Roasted Roma Tomatoes and Fried Sage.  We loved incorporating seasonal produce into this dish! And, of course, then came dessert!  These Black Forest Petite Bundt Cakes were so delcious!!!  And, we loved the natural stone plates.  What an unexpected and beautiful element! I can't but help share the breathtaking florals by Soil and Stem and the amazing stained glass cake by Carries Cakes!  Aren't they pretty?! Of course, we had to do a bit of a dessert selection, so we also served Vanilla Bean Rose Cupcakes with a rose frosting design, Mini Lemon Meringue Tarts, and Chocolate Dipped Bosc Pears!  All served with these pretty glass bell jar tops.  How fun! We loved this shoot and thought it was brimming with so much good stuff!  I think you'll agree.  :)  We hope it inspires all of you to get creative with your events and add some additional elements to take it over the top!  Happy planning, everyone! lavender love and Honey photoshoot Editorial from Utah Valley Bride Magazine!

By

Today, in honor of the first day of spring yesterday, Culinary Crafts is so thrilled to share this dreamy Lavender Love and Honey photoshoot with a gorgeous spring palette that should get all of you excited for the upcoming season!  (Side note, you may recognize this shoot from the glossy pages of Utah Valley Bride magazine!!!)  The vendor team was truly extraordinary including Kristina Curtis Photography who's photos were STUNNING!  Check it out! Isn't this setting GORGEOUS?!  And the design by Leslie Dawn Events was seriously breathtaking!  It was truly our pleasure to spend the day at Young Living Lavender Farm! Calie Rose is a floral magician!  The flowers totally tied in with the lavender fields without overwhelming the surroundings or fading into the background.  Such a beautiful addition! Our Lavender Lemonade with a Candied Ginger Lemon Wheel is always hit and was the perfect beverage to serve for this shoot! We chose to serve a light lunch/brunch type foods to keep with the light feel of the shoot.  Our House-Made Whole Wheat Bread with Clove Honey Spread was the perfect light, yet delicious, comfort food! How cute are these Limoncello favors?  We loved the calligraphy favor tags from Karli Noel Calligraphy and the little hand stoppered bottles.  SO fun! This bike was SOOOO cool!  We loved the whimsical element it added to the shoot - and isn't a perfect shade of spring yellow?  Love it!  Plus, our bride was such a natural beauty! I love this photo and couldn't help but share it!  I think it definitely encapsulated the fun, beautiful and spring-like vibes the team was trying to create in this lavender love and honey photoshoot! Another shot of our signature Lavender Lemonade.  We love it, plus isn't the bride's amethyst ring from designer By Angeline amazing?  Love the organic feel of it! This cake by our friends at Flour and Flourish was beautiful as well as delicious!  We loved the use of candied lemon and lavender as the minimal decoration.  And, I have to say, it paired with our Lavender Lemonade amazingly! The simple and elegant menu with more calligraphy by Karli Noel Calligraphy and the eclectic place settings were such a dream.  Plus, we love the soft pink of the glassware.  All around, this table was stunning! Wasn't this a perfect way to welcome spring?  We thought so!  Thank you again to the entire vendor team for putting together an AMAZING day and thank you to Utah Valley Bride for featuring it in their 2017 issue!  Happy spring, everyone! Rustic Unique Red Cliff Ranch Wedding!

By

This warmer weather has the team here at Culinary Crafts jones-ing for summer!  So, with that vibe in mind, today we have a Rustic Unique Red Cliff Ranch wedding to share with you.  This romantically rustic wedding was full of beautiful touches - and we aren't surprised because it was expertly planned and designed by one of our favorite vendor partners, FUSE Weddings & Events!  Add in pretty photos from Alixann Loosle Photography  and you have a winning combo!  Check it out! CC_Laura&Charley What a pretty bridal party!  Aren't those bridesmaid dresses gorgeous?! CC_Laura&Charley2 And, talk about beauty!  How about this lace detail on the bride's gown??  Plus, didn't Artisan Bloom create a picture perfect bouquet?  LOVE! CC_Laura&Charley3 One of our favorite parts of this Rustic Unique Red Cliff Ranch wedding is this meadow with the red cliffs (for which is was named) that tower behind the ceremony site.  Such a breathtaking backdrop! CC_Laura&Charley4 Of course, on this warm summer day, we made sure the guests had a great place to hang out during cocktail hour.  We served beverages and hors d'oeuvres that kept the guests mingling and happy until dinner was served. CC_Laura&Charley5 Pulled Pork Sliders and  Prociutto Wrapped Utah Peaches were just a couple of the delicious bites our awesome team butler passed to guests!  So yummy! CC_Laura&Charley6 We also created this AMAZING cheese board with local Slide Ridge honeycomb!  Such a hit! CC_Laura&Charley7 Isn't this reception space BEAUTIFUL?!  FUSE Weddings & Events never disappoints!  And those florals by Artisan Bloom?  Gorgeous! CC_Laura&Charley8 A simple, yet elegant, place setting was the perfect addition to this romantic table.  Plus, we love the added touch of Karli Noel's handdrawn calligraphy that let guests know where their seat was! CC_Laura&Charley9 CC_Laura&Charley10 The couple chose to serve the dinner 'family-style' which, as you know, Culinary Crafts loves!  We started with Artisan Breads like Black Peppercorn Cheddar, Beer Bread, and Corn Muffins with Utah Sea Salt Crusted Creamery Butters.  We also served Roasted Beet Salad with Snuck Farms Fresh Greens, Goat Cheese, Utah Pistachios & Citrus Honey Vinaigrette; Grilled Sweet Potatoes with Olive Oil, Cracked Pepper, and Sea Salt; Mesquite-Grilled Utah Red Trout with Tomato, Basil and Ricotta Risotto; Chicken Paillard with Napa Salad, Daikon, Mango and Mint; and finally Grilled Skirt Steak Cumin-Coriander Mushrooms, and Parsley Sauce.  SOOO good! CC_Laura&Charley11 CC_Laura&Charley12 To follow up that AMAZING dinner, of course we had to create a decadent dessert bar - just like this one! CC_Laura&Charley13 Chocolate Pot de Creme with Vanilla Whipped Cream and Mason Jar Berry Cobblers with Fresh Whipped Cream?  Yes, please! CC_Laura&Charley14 Plus, House Made Gelato?  You bet! CC_Laura&Charley15 We also made some 'late-night' snacks like these Mini Grilled Cheese Bites!  The guests LOVED them! CC_Laura&Charley16 And, you can't have a ranch wedding without an AMAZING s'mores bar, just like this one!  The guests always have so much fun making these treats by the fire! This was SUCH a fun wedding and we are so grateful to all of the amazing vendors who made this day such a gorgeous one!  I hope this inspires you to plan some dreamy ranch weddings, everyone!  Happy planning! Our Alternative Unique Wedding Cake for Utah Valley Bride!

By

So, working at Culinary Crafts is pretty awesome.  Not only do you get to work with some of the best people around (our in house staff as well as the local vendors), but we get to be a part of some pretty creative and amazing things.  Case in point:  Our Alternative Unique Wedding Cake for Utah Valley Bride! Featured in the newly debuted Utah Valley Bride magazine! Check it out! UVB_AltCakesFeature2017 This feature was SO fun because they showcased 5 different alternative cakes by 5 different culinary artisans, but it didn't just end there!  They used each spectacular cake to inspire a theme for it's own vignette - all photographed beautifully by Elisha Braithwaite Photography! UVB_AltCakesFeature20172 Our Cheese Wheel cake was pretty AMAZING (if we do say so ourselves) and the 'Modern Italian' theme was certainly right up our alley!  With a fantastic vendor team to put the visions together, well, we were just blown away! UVB_AltCakesFeature20173 Between the coordination skills of Utah Valley Bride, the design & styling talent of Sage and Thistle Events and the amazing florist, The Potted Pansy, didn't this turn out just BEAUTIFULLY?!  Our cake fit perfectly, don't you think? UVB_AltCakesFeature20174 Not only did the vignette include a gorgeous tablescape, but there was a perfectly matched paper suite too!  This modern and elegant design by Robert and Stella was so pretty!  Love it! UVB_AltCakesFeature20175 We LOVED being a part of this shoot!  It was so much fun and we are all for dreaming up creative new trends for our brides!  If you haven't already, pick up your copy of Utah Valley Bride, on newsstands now!  Happy dreaming, everyone!
