
- 1 pound butter
- 1 pound dark brown sugar
- 1 pound granulated sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 tbs vanilla (use our homemade vanilla recipe!)
- ⅓ cup corn syrup
- 1 pound all purpose flour
- 1 pound cake flour
- 1 ½ tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp salt
- 3 pounds of chocolate chips (We like the large Guittard chips)
- Cream butter, and sugars together in a mixer
- Add eggs, vanilla, and corn syrup, mix until combined
- Sift together flours, soda, and salt. Add to mixer and mix.
- Add chocolate chips and mix just until combined
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Spray sheet pans, and scoop ¼ cup of dough and place 12 to a sheet.
- Lightly depress cookies before putting them in the oven. Back for 6 minutes, rotate pan, and cook another 6 minutes.
- Take out and let cool.
