Mother of Sauces!

Wednesday, July 12th from 6-8pm
Chef Morgan Cannon and Meagan Price teach you how to make the 5 “mother” sauces that are most often used in cooking. You will learn how to turn any meal into a masterpiece using one of these 5 delicious sauces. Join us for a splendid dinner and a very tasty education! Each student will get 1 cup of each of the sauces to take home. You will be learning how to make all 5 of the mother sauces: bechamel, veloute, espagnole, hollandaise, and the sauce tomate.

Artisan Breads Part 2

Wednesday, September 27th from 6-8pm
Pastry Chefs Jocelyn Gilles and Michael Barrett will teach you all about baking bread. They will share tips and recipes that will improve your success with baking bread at home! No need to be an expert, join us and learn which new breads will start your holiday season off with a bang! This is a Part 2 class, but if you missed the first one, don’t worry! You can still come! In this class we will be elaborating more on the difficult breads, such as cooking ciabatta in a dutch oven, and how to make our musli rolls and brioche. Breads that used to be intimidating will become simple! Class participants will receive take-home recipes and will get to taste all the different types of bread, paired with compound butters! Everyone will also get to take home a loaf of bread. We’ll be posting the list of breads to covered when the class date gets closer.
