Culinary Crafts Gives Back | Trendy Tuesday

By

Mary presenting the donation to the International Caterers Association for their Educational Foundation last summer. We here at Culinary Crafts are big believers in philanthropy both for the communities we live in and in the industry we work in.  Culinary Crafts believes that giving back is a necessary act that must be added to our daily lives, not only to show gratitude for all of the blessings that each of us has, but to better our communities as a whole and lead by example.  We are very involved with such worthwhile organizations such as The United Way of Utah County, the American Cancer Society, Women In Philanthropy, and the Make-A-Wish Foundation (amongst others) - but we also believe in helping out the people in our industry who need guidance, resources, or a head start to create an AMAZING business.  After all, it was not without help that we were able to get where we are today!  In tradition of helping give a hand to our colleagues, we recently we gave away a leadership scholarship donation through the International Caterers Association's education foundation.  The recipient this year was Debby Stein from Texas and because of our education scholarship, Debby is able to attend a week Catersource Conference in Las Vegas, a week at The Art of Catering in Philadelphia, and a week in Utah mentoring with Mary and Culinary Crafts, all expenses paid!  It was an amazing experience and we were so thrilled to be able to award this to such a deserving recipient!  I hope this inspires you to get out in your community and make a difference!  After all, we should strive to make our world and community better, for ours and the generations to come!  Happy helping, everyone!
