Brianna and Dylan wanted to have their wedding ceremony and reception dinner in the same venue, one that could accommodate and delight their 100 guests. They were thrilled to find downtown Salt Lake’s Church & State with it’s gorgeous mix of wood floors, metal accents, and modern “Mondrian style” stained glass windows! For this urban modern location they chose an ultra sophisticated color palette of black, white, and gold for their reception dinner.
Their ceremony took place upstairs, and afterwards guests enjoyed butler-passed hors d’oeuvres of Carolina pork sliders and mozzarella salata with Kalamata olives. The dining tables, draped in ivory, were set with gold Arezzo flatware, ivory and gold china, and chic black napkins. Our house-made artisan rolls were plated with a sea salt butter paddle, ready and waiting for guests to be seated. The wedding buffet was an elegant feast featuring lemon herb chicken, butternut squash ravioli with brown sage butter, green beans almandine, and roasted fingerling potatoes. After dinner, guests danced into the night to the music of Pixie & the Partygrass Boys with a finale of Brianna and Dylan exiting through a tunnel of sparklers. This was a wonderful wedding indeed!
