One of the most beautiful venues in this state is Blue Sky Utah in Wanship. Just a short drive from Park City, this hidden gem is perfect for an upscale wedding such as Christina Story’s. The wedding took place at Blue Sky Utah which made it an easy transition for guests to go from the ceremony to enjoying our butler-passed hors d’oeuvres and the “His and Hers” appetizer stations. These were so fun! For “His” (because the groom hails from the Czech Republic), we served Czech ham and cheese kolaches with Bramboraky (shredded potato pancakes garnished with sauerkraut) and “Hers” (because the bride hails from Georgia), we served Southern pulled pork sliders with sweet potato fries and rosemary aioli. At Culinary Crafts we can customize anything! The plated dinner began with an elegant salad trio of watermelon cube with feta and mint, tender greens with grilled Utah peach slices and Slide Ridge honey vinaigrette, and heirloom tomatoes, basil, and fresh mozzarella with balsamic reduction. Guests loved the duo entree plate with elk tenderloin and mesquite grilled trout. Many brides like to serve their wedding cake for dessert and by adding our signature homemade gelato, it makes it a special dessert! In keeping with Christina’s Southern heritage, a cookie bar was offered so guests could make their own custom cookie boxes to go! The event flowed without a hitch thanks to the wedding coordination of Kati Price and Events Rising. Photography by Pepper Nix Photography.
