I’ve been in the wedding business for 32 years and catered well over 5000 weddings, but had never had a request like this one! Scott Beck, the president of Visit Salt Lake, called me to ask if I could orchestrate a secret pop-up restaurant, and what the guests wouldn’t knew is that he and Angie were getting married between the cocktail hour and dinner! What a fun and completely unique idea. I was in! I designed the menu and time line to keep the guests in the dark until the grand reveal as they entered the back patio of our downtown Tasting Room to discover a wedding ceremony! Tears, squeals of joy, and laughter ensued as this fabulous couple tied the knot. I loved hosting their guests to a wonderful chef dinner with all the bells and whistles.
