"With this being the last week of Fall, I decided that I wanted to feature all of the Fall wedding goodness that I could get my hands on! Today’s Fall wedding is rustic and takes place on a Utah ranch, and it comes to us from Pepper Nix Photography! From horseshoe decor elements and stunning hanging florals, to breathtaking mountain views and amazing details, this wedding has inspiration around every corner! The gorgeous bride, Kate, is here with us today to share about her wedding planning experience:
What (or who) helped you most in your planning process and/or on your wedding day?
My family was so helpful in helping me plan for our wedding. My mom and my mother in law had so much fun wedding planning and they really made all my wedding dreams come true. My handsome groom was not very interested in all the little details so the moms, my sister to be, and I had a great time planning every last detail for the wedding. I also had so much fun with my bridal party and sharing the details of our wedding day and celebrating my shower and bachelorette with them made the whole year feel like a celebration.
What was the most important thing to you when deciding who to work with for your wedding?
We really wanted to enjoy planning so we picked people to work with that were fun to be around. Everyone that we encountered or heard about seemed like they were so talented and great at their work, so it just came down to working with people who we clicked with. I knew we had made a good choice with our photographer, Pepper Nix, when she invited us for a beer prior to our engagement photos. It was so great to know our details were in great hands, especially being so far from our venue.
What was your inspiration for your wedding details and/or design?
When we found our venue, I knew immediately we were in the right spot and I wanted everything to be about the beautiful outdoors. We highlighted the beautiful scenery of the rustic ranch incorporated lace and delicate décor.
What was your favorite thing about your wedding?
My favorite thing about the wedding was definitely celebrating with family and friends. Even though we both knew how lucky we were to have such great friends and family before our wedding, we could not have imagined how special our wedding day would be. We were so touched and overwhelmed by how excited everyone was to celebrate with us and how much love we felt that day!
What is your best piece of advice for other brides?
My advice would be to go with what makes you and your future husband feel good. It’s easy to over analyze and get caught up in the details, but everything will be perfect in its own way on your special day. We made the choice to get married half a country away from where we live, and I wouldn’t change a thing. Our friends and family were happy to see a place we loved and celebrate our love with us and that was the sweetest thing of all.
I love that Kate and her groom chose to have a destination wedding at a location that they held close to their hearts. It turned out quite gorgeous, don’t you think?"
Thank you to Every Last Detail for the beautiful post and stay tuned for more from this beauty of a wedding tomorrow! Happy dreaming, everyone!
