We originally created these private label wines for exclusive use on our catered events. We partnered with Park City’s Old Town Cellars to create these delicious blends and beautiful bottles. Our goals were to create a unique “cool factor” that would make the wines right at home next to our fabulous local spirits and microbrews, and to offer the best bang for the buck at our most requested price point. The response (and request for more access) has been so positive, we’ve made them available for public retail purchase.
Our Utah Art Series Box includes 3 bottles of each of our 4 blends: Towers Rosé, Albion White, Corvair Red, and Mount Superior.
Our Mountain Dinners Box is perfect for those evenings when you’re enjoying the evening with friends and cooking in the open air over a live fire (kind of our favorite thing). You get 6 of each of Chef Ryan’s favorites – the Towers Rosé and the Mount Superior. And may we suggest from our signature repertoire, an apple wood smoked trout and a mesquite grilled Wagyu skirt steak, as the perfect pairings respectively for the dry rosé and the full-bodied red!
Details on the each blend are below:
The Towers Rosé is a Saignée method produced blend that is surprisingly and pleasantly dry (think provençal style rosé). A blend of Syrah, Viognier, and Pinot Gris, it’s a very acidic wine and imparts flavors of pomegranate, strawberry, and melon, finished with notes of rose petal and plum. It is perfect to enjoy on its own before dinner, just as the day is cooling off. But we’ve found we also love to pair it with BBQ menus – especially smoked Utah corn and mesquite-grilled trout with green apple relish.
The Albion White is a white table blend designed to have broad appeal and application that wine drinkers of all backgrounds can enjoy. A blend of Pinot Gris and Riesling, it imparts notes of citrus zest, white flower, and mushroom on the nose. Higher acid and minerality make it a perfect table wine that pairs with Utah harvest cuisine or can easily be enjoyed alone.
The Corvair Red is a red table blend and generally serves as a counterpart to the Albion, intended to pair with multiple cuisines and palates. A blend of Barbera, Sangiovese, and Pinot Noir, it imparts notes of plum, violet, and wild berries. Supple tannins and a fruit-forward profile help this wine be an ideal choice across all four of Utah’s seasons and especially during our cool evenings.
The Mount Superior is a unique blend of Merlot and Baco Noir selections, encapsulating notes of ripe berry, baking spice, rhubarb, and vanilla. It’s a deliciously aromatic and exceptionally smooth drinking wine, while still full-bodied with rich tannins. It was created to pair wonderfully with red meat, dark chocolate, and any other similar robust favors.
