Spotlight: Clark Planetarium with some exciting news!

By

Seriously.  So EXCITING!  Do you like Harry Potter?  Do you want to see the first installation of the upcoming Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows movie?  Do you want to see it in IMAX awesomeness?!?  At the Clark Planetarium?  Well, now you can!  Here's a little more information from the special events coordinator, Carl Malaret:

"Clark Planetarium is currently taking reservations for private screenings of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows which opens on Friday, November 19, 2010.  There are times available on opening day as well as that Saturday and Sunday.  Evening private screenings are $3,456, while matinee screenings are $2,592.  Groups can either enjoy a catered event before or after the film or take advantage of the food and beverage options available at our concessions area.  Special combos on popcorn and drinks are being introduced with the start of Harry Potter."

What a simply stellar idea!  And it doesn't just stop with Harry Potter.  You can reserve the Clark Planetarium to create your unique event for dinners, client appreciation events, or holiday parties.  They have many different options to choose from and can accommodate small gatherings of 20 people up to large galas for 1000!  If you'd like to contact them to talk more about Harry Potter, or just having Clark Planetarium be your venue for your upcoming event, please call 801.456.4973 or email Carl at cmalaret@slco.org.  And please comment if you, like me, think this is just a fantastic idea!
