It's that time of year where the hustle and bustle begins, snow falls, presents are gifted, and families gather. It's Christmas time! Here at Culinary Crafts, even though we are super busy with FABULOUS holiday parties, we LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this time of year. So I thought, this month, I would like to use our Trendy Tuesday feature to spotlight Mary Crafts-Homer's favorite things for the holiday season. She knows a thing or two about creating the perfect holiday and, as usual, has fantastic ideas to kick off this feature! Check it out!
Photo Credit: ZumaPhotoMary's Top 5 Christmas Musts!1. Must Check Out: The Garden Store in SLC on 7th East. Stopped in today and purchased some darling new Christmas glass ornaments for my tree. All depictions of FOOD, of course. :)
2. Must Visit: The Spa at Hotel Park City. During this hectic season, we all need a little R & R. Rick and I went for
a couple's massage and then I spent an hour of solitude in their amazing sauna, steam room, and hot tub. Now I'm ready to face the chaos we call "Christmas at Culinary Crafts"!!
3. Must Go: Attend at least one holiday production of a play, concert, or exhibit. I went to a children's production of 'The Best Christmas Pageant Ever' and was completely thrilled with the performances and spirit of Christmas
the audience left with. Nothing says "Christmas" like a night out - even just to see the lights!
4. Must Do: Host/Attend A Christmas Party. My favorite things at the holidays are the parties! If you're not invited to one of these festive evenings, then host your own! December is not the time for "Bah, Humbug!"
5. Must Get: A live Christmas tree. A childhood memory of a simpler time when the smell of pine in the house meant family, gifts, and caroling.
Thank you so much Mary for sharing these wonderful ideas. Next week, we'll have even more fantastic advice from Miss Mary! Stay tuned and happy Christmas-ing!
