Utah Bride Blog’s 2016 Spring Editorial Feature: The Food

By

Today, it's all about the food from the Utah Bride Blog Spring Editorial Shoot!  Culinary Crafts has SO much fun putting together a menu that perfectly played off of FUSE Weddings and Events's amazing spring design concept.  Check it out! UBB_Food First, we just have to remind you how BEAUTIFUL this tablescape is!  Plus, isn't Salt Lake Hardware Building a great venue?  One of our favs, for sure! UBB_Food2 Great mix of polished and raw elements.  Plus the green and white palette is a perfect fit for spring and I love how the black pops in the napkins add depth. UBB_Food3 I love this arbor design!  Decoration Inc always makes such a gorgeous floral design and this one was seriously a show stopper! UBB_Food4 The butler-passed hors d’oeuvres add another pop of spring color by using a watermelon radish instead of the typical crostini bread.  Add local goat cheese and honey with chive and that's all you need to create this refreshing and crisp appetizer. Plus, we always want to make sure there's a pretty cocktail to serve too!  Herbal cocktails are one of my favorite new trends and a garnish of fresh rosemary and mint in this lime gin concoction is the perfect drink to showcase to the freshness of spring! UBB_Food5 Of course, there is more food too!  Our seasonal spring salad is shaved asparagus and fennel garnished with sliced strawberries, candied walnuts, and micro greens.  To give the white bistro plates a pop, a pretty pink beet dijon vinaigrette is served on the base.  Such a pretty presentation! UBB_Food6 In addition, a simple crusty mini baguette is elevated to “wedding dinner” status by wrapping it in white parchment paper, black and white twine, and emphasizing spring with a single rose bud.  We love this extra special touch to make a baguette something a little more than meets the eye! Culinary Crafts loved being a part of this shoot and it was so much fun to be a part of such a stellar vendor team!  Thank you to Utah Bride Blog for letting us participate!  Happy planning, everyone!
