Utah Olympic Park Open House
Recently, we had the honor of catering the Open House of the Utah Olympic Park in Park City, Utah. It was a gorgeous day that really showcased what an AMAZING venue this place is! If you aren't aware, the Utah Olympic Park hosts two museums (one of which harkens back to the 2002 Winter Games that were held right here in Utah), is still a training center for Olympic athletes and has various activities for guests in the winter AND summer. Right now you can check out their alpine slide, zipline (which is the steepest in the world), cruise the Comet bobsled, or free stlye ski jump into the pool! How awesome is that? Not only did guests get to check out all of these offerings, but we also got to do some really fun food stations that were a definite hit! Check it out!
This station was a fun hors d'oeuvres and beverage pairing - which featured a Herb Hibiscus Swizzle in cute little soda bottles and delicious Crab Salad Avocado Gazpacho with Andalouse Sauce. Yum!
What a gorgeous tent! We loved the strung lights that gave this event a casual and fun feel.
Our rustic Burger & Fries station was filled with twists on classics like Sweet Potato Fries with Chili Lime Sauce, Rosemary Fries with Roasted Garlic Aioli, and Snake River Pulled Hog Jowl with Beehive Cheddar Coleslaw on a House Made Slider Bun. Plus our fun appetizers like Roasted Carrots and Deconstructed Greek Salad Skewers were another fun offering!
This station was a bit more formal, but still super DELICIOUS! Our Chef Torched Beef Tataki with Paassion Fruit Ponzu is an elegant dish that guests love because they actually get to see our chefs prepare the Tataki in front of them!
I LOVE dessert and Culinary Crafts does it right! Look at this AMAZING assortment of treats! From macarons, to brownies, to cake pops, and mini cupcakes with gorgeous cherries, these super cute desserts were enough to cur anyone's sweet tooth! YUM!
The Utah Olympic Park is an AMAZING space an we were so fortunate to be able to make their Open House even more wonderful! If you are looking for some fun summer activities - definitely check them out! Not to mention, the space is available to rent for a one of a kind event! Happy 4th of July tomorrow everyone!
