Abravanel Hall

Located in the heart of downtown Salt Lake, this venue is a must see for all city visitors. The magnificent Chihuly Olympic Tower of Flame is visible through the all-glass entrance. This is a very elegant venue with a gold-leaf staircase and rich green carpets. The lower lobby and the 1st tier room are both available for rent singly, or together for a larger event. The Alpine Art Center is a wonderful art gallery set in the middle of beautiful Alpine, Utah, and surrounded by breathtaking mountain views, gardens, and streams. The Alumni House is centrally located on the University of Utah campus and can be a nice setting for weddings of 300 or corporate dinners for 100. Groups often use the living room area for guest reception and cocktail hour, while the dining room can serve for the buffet and formal part of the evening. With a full commercial kitchen on site, there is no limit to the scrumptious food that can be served with ease.

The American Fork Amphitheater is one of the best outdoor venues in Utah County. Its location across the street from the Mount Timpanogos Temple in American Fork makes it convenient for many LDS brides. The Depot

Inside The Depot you’ll find three different venues. The Depot Music Room has about 4,000 square feet of hip night club/concert space. The Blue Goose is a smaller venue perfect for breakfast meetings or more intimate events. Oakley Ranch

Oakley Ranch is a mountain property with a unique, rustic, open-air barn set in a wooded glen for a very secluded venue. There is plenty of open space for ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing. They also run a ropes course on the property which makes it ideal for corporate team building events. There are staging areas for brides and grooms to dress on-site. Royal Restrooms are needed at this venue. Olympic Cauldron Museum at Rice-Eccles

Located adjacent to the University of Utah Rice Eccles Stadium, the museum is an exciting Olympic location with seating for 150 at formal tables or a stand-up reception for 250. The outdoor plaza is a huge space which can easily accommodate a group of 1500-2000. The plaza is the permanent location of the Olympic Flame and dozens of interesting Olympic exhibits. Provo City Library at Academy Square

The Academy Square at Provo’s Library is one of the best venues in Provo. Its central location, lots of parking, and spacious room options make it one of the first places I recommend to clients. We recently hosted the Women in Philanthropy Gala at the Square and I love the versatility of the space. Guests registered and mingled in the foyer, visited the silent auction in the side rooms, and gathered for the formal dinner in the grand ballroom. The ballroom has a riser stage and AV equipment which is great for a live auction, band, or DJ. As you can see from the photos, the guests had a raving good time and will be back next year for another fun-filled evening at the Square!

This great downtown location is an often overlooked venue for convention, corporate, and wedding events. We recently hosted a convention cocktail event for Hyatt’s International Event Planners, with 450 guests. The event featured butler-passed hors d’oeuvres, trendy vertical buffets, and martini ice slides with full bars. The large Rose Room downstairs can seat 300 for a plated dinner. The theater offers 3 levels of flow, with the elegance of a theater and the contemporary design of an artistic venue. Salt Lake City & County Building

The City-County building and its park-like setting is a beautiful backdrop for weddings and other private parties, as well as meetings and after hours get-togethers for non-profit and for-profit businesses. One of the grandest municipal buildings in the United States, this architectural gem opened in 1892. Said to be modeled after London’s City Hall, the structure has details common to the Romanesque Revival style, with detailed depictions of Utah history carved above doorways and the faces of pioneers sculpted atop the building’s columns. The outside venue is completely shaded with some of Salt Lakes oldest trees. Outdoor event space for up to 3000. The inside venue space is on 3 levels with each level seating approximately 100 guests or reception style service for 500.

The new Salt Lake City Public Library has won numerous awards for its breathtaking contemporary design and it has become a downtown landmark of the rising modern face of Salt Lake City. Salt Lake County Equestrian Center

Where can you hold a rodeo and real life western experience for a large group? A fabulous venue has opened to local corporate and international convention groups. Located 30 minutes from downtown Salt Lake, this is a true cowboy experience complete with horses, bulls, chuck wagon grub, and festive saloon girls. The illustrious event for 3000 guests flowed perfectly at this venue, with plenty of room for bus parking, large open bars, and cowboy hats for everyone. Silver Springs Lodge is a gorgeous venue in the Timberlakes area of Heber City. It is perfect for family reunions, corporate retreats, and private events. This 18,000 square foot lodge-style venue features a large common area on the main floor with a gourmet kitchen and a pretty good selection of seating tables and chairs. 10 bedrooms, each with its own in-suite bathroom, provide sleeping quarters for up to 40. The basement is equipped with more common area, a theater, and game areas. Our newest venue in Utah County is the Sleepy Ridge Golf Club and Event Center. We have never had a venue like this in the Provo/Orem area and it is absolutely stunning! The exterior has the look of “Old World” elegance with a touch of modern design. The same feeling is carried through the building with its elegant appointments and furnishings. The 3rd Floor Sunset room is the largest room seating 250 guests for a formal dinner or 800 for a reception style event. The 1st Floor Garden room is more casual but still maintains the upscale feel of the rest of the building. I love how this room flows out to the patio for ceremonies or English Tea. Snuck Farm

The mission of Snuck Farm is to be a force for good in the community. They work to produce the freshest, highest quality food in the local marketplace. They also teach and promote industrious ideas about healthy food and sustainable, community-based food production. Their hydroponic systems are being used to grow pesticide-free produce using ecologically sustainable methods in technologically-sophisticated, climate-controlled greenhouses at the farm. The farm is named for Boyd “Snuck” Fugal who, along with his wife Venice, cultivated the land where the greenhouses are now located. The farm has been part of the Fugal family for over 100 years and the construction of the barn was a way to preserve a piece of their family history on the remaining acreage. The farm is now managed by “Snuck’s” granddaughter Page, and her husband Brian Westover. They chose hydroponic growing for this spot because of the small acreage left of the 160 acres originally farmed by Boyd. The Westovers wanted to maximize production of the land in an environmentally friendly way. Their hydroponic operation will produce more than 4x the yield of traditional farming while using a fraction of the water required in the field. They will provide retail, restaurant, and institutional customers with a reliable, year-round, local supply of produce grown under the highest standards of quality and food safety. The Utah County Courthouse is one of the historic icons of the state. This long-standing venue will be hopping again as the LDS Church has announced a new temple will located just across the street in downtown Provo. Utah State Fair Park

OC Tanner’s Holiday Christmas Party is always the highlight of the year for this company. Their employees look forward to new menus, new decor, and new entertainment…that always has to outshine the year before. This year the party was held at the Grand Ballroom of the State Fairgrounds. Scenemakers transformed the room to a rich setting with coppers, bronzes, chocolates, and gold. Guests were greeted with passed hors d’oeuvres, artisan cheeses and tapanades and 4 glistening ice sculptures with overflowing shrimp–the President’s favorite! The dining room featured 4 double-sided buffets with pre-set salads and bread. Bite-size dessert gems were served to the tables as guests enjoyed the comedy show of Jason Hewlett. Viridian Event Center

The Viridian Event Center is a multi-use event space with endless potential. Attached to the West Jordan Library, the Event Center has a 7,100 sq. ft. multipurpose room that can be divided into three sections to create more intimate spaces, or left open for larger functions. Wheeler Historic Farm

Wheeler Farm offers not only a spectacular indoor venue with the warm and inviting barn space, the outdoor landscape is perfect for spring and summer weddings with its open lawns and mature trees. It’s not every day we get the opportunity to plan a fabulous 40th birthday party! Bridgette’s husband Brit and his sisters had a vision of whimsy and elegance, fun and sophistication, and plenty of tiny pin-on buttons! We used vibrant colors and florals along with personalized buttons designed by Heidi to create the atmosphere. Guests were invited to a gorgeous tent on the green at Wheeler Farm where they were greeted by a tall Cherry blossom Tree on which they hung small paper blossoms scripted with meaningful tributes. The aroma of freshly prepared dishes filled the tent where our chefs were the “live, action” centerpiece! Asian to go containers filled with a variety of candies as well as a fun assortment of tiny little buttons were offered as favors and the afternoon was filled with heart felt devotionals and genuine gratitude. Overall, this truly was a celebration of a life well lived- filled with fun, generosity and plenty of love! Thank you Server family for allowing me to be a part of this truly joyous occasion!

Eccles Theater

We could not be more excited to be a preferred caterer at the Eccles Theater! This gorgeous theater located in the heart of downtown Salt Lake City is a prime location for holding events of all kinds. There are multiple areas that can comfortably hold anywhere from 25 to 300 guests and up, depending on the type of gathering. We recently had the pleasure of catering a wonderful retirement party in the Regent Black Box Theater. Modern and versatile in its ability to transform with any kind of theme and design, it was an ideal location for this group, whose office is located nearby. Guests were treated to some of our favorite dishes: fennel and paprika rubbed chicken with caper & green olive tapenade as well as the always popular brown butter and sage gnocchi with charred Utah corn and sautéed mushrooms. We look forward to future events at the Eccles Theater!
