This great downtown location is an often overlooked venue for convention, corporate, and wedding events. We recently hosted a convention cocktail event for Hyatt’s International Event Planners, with 450 guests. The event featured butler-passed hors d’oeuvres, trendy vertical buffets, and martini ice slides with full bars. The large Rose Room downstairs can seat 300 for a plated dinner. The theater offers 3 levels of flow, with the elegance of a theater and the contemporary design of an artistic venue. I highly recommend this venue as a versatile gem in close proximity to every downtown stop.

The City-County building and its park-like setting is a beautiful backdrop for weddings and other private parties, as well as meetings and after hours get-togethers for non-profit and for-profit businesses. One of the grandest municipal buildings in the United States, this architectural gem opened in 1892. Said to be modeled after London’s City Hall, the structure has details common to the Romanesque Revival style, with detailed depictions of Utah history carved above doorways and the faces of pioneers sculpted atop the building’s columns. The outside venue is completely shaded with some of Salt Lakes oldest trees. Outdoor event space for up to 3000. The inside venue space is on 3 levels with each level seating approximately 100 guests or reception style service for 500.

The new Salt Lake City Public Library has won numerous awards for its breathtaking contemporary design and it has become a downtown landmark of the rising modern face of Salt Lake City. The open atrium lobby is a fabulous setting for weddings, corporate, and convention events as seen in these photos. Plenty of parking and walking distance from the Grand America. There are some restrictions as to access hours as it is open to the public. Formal seating for 400; reception style for 2000. Photography by Zuma Photo.

Where can you hold a rodeo and real life western experience for a large group? A fabulous venue has opened to local corporate and international convention groups. Located 30 minutes from downtown Salt Lake, this is a true cowboy experience complete with horses, bulls, chuck wagon grub, and festive saloon girls. The illustrious event for 3000 guests flowed perfectly at this venue, with plenty of room for bus parking, large open bars, and cowboy hats for everyone. Wouldn’t you like to have been a guest at this one? Guests enjoyed authentic BBQ beef brisket, smoked mountain trout, “kick it up” macaroni and cheese, and roving hawker trays of scrumptious homemade cookies! Thank you to DVIP for the honor of being involved in another one of your spectacular events!

The interior of the building has a 4 story open atrium with a great “New York Retro Loft” look and feel. The space can be used as one large area or easily petitioned into cocktail and dinner areas. Seated dinners for 200 or reception style for 600. A true overlooked gem in Salt Lake’s downtown scene! Our newest venue in Utah County is the Sleepy Ridge Golf Club and Event Center. We have never had a venue like this in the Provo/Orem area and it is absolutely stunning! The exterior has the look of “Old World” elegance with a touch of modern design. The same feeling is carried through the building with its elegant appointments and furnishings. The 3rd Floor Sunset room is the largest room seating 250 guests for a formal dinner or 800 for a reception style event. The 1st Floor Garden room is more casual but still maintains the upscale feel of the rest of the building. I love how this room flows out to the patio for ceremonies or English Tea. This room seats 180 with a reception capacity of 500. There are no limits to the number of guests or imagination of themes if the entire venue is rented utilizing all the event spaces. Sleepy Ridge offers the complete package for weddings, corporate events, golf tournaments, and more. Two thumbs way up on this amazing venue!

Snuck Farm is a new venue in Pleasant Grove, and we are thrilled to be partnering with them for a very special “Pop Up” restaurant featuring a farm-to-fork menu on August 28th! This unique 10-course feast, inspired by the produce grown at Snuck Farm, will only be offered for one remarkable evening. The restaurant pops up for a night and then disappears, offering a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
This special evening will be the inaugural event at the beautiful Snuck Farm facility, which is surrounded by majestic mountain peaks, and will feature impossibly fresh ingredients grown within thirty feet of the dining table. This is a must for foodies!
Savor the moment when lettuces bounce off your plate, the corn is succulently sweet, tomatoes have the perfect balance of acidity and ripeness. Don’t deny yourself that experience in the hands of world-renowned chefs in a spectacular, natural setting.
Just some of the features of the menu are Utah trout smoked over cherry wood with corn pudding, New York strip steak with tarragon mushroom béarnaise, chicken roulade with a peach and cashew stuffing, a flight of local cheeses from four different local cheese makers, and a roasted strawberry chocolate-chip shortcake with chocolate whipped cream.
Special live music will be a highlight of the evening, as well as a tour of the farm and a chance to meet the growers, Page and Brian Westover. Mary Crafts-Homer, and Chef David will also be on-hand to meet and greet you.
In order to attend this exclusive event, you must purchase your tickets in advance. Tickets are very limited, only 50 seats are available. Friday, August 28th 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm at Snuck Farm, 504 West 1100 North, Pleasant Grove, UT 84062. Tickets are a special introductory price of $100 for the 10-course dinner. To order your tickets, please call (801) 225-6567, or go to www.Farmtoforkpopup.eventbrite.com
The mission of Snuck Farm is to be a force for good in the community. They work to produce the freshest, highest quality food in the local marketplace and teach and promote industrious ideas about healthy food and sustainable, community-based food production. Their hydroponic systems are being used to grow pesticide-free produce using ecologically sustainable methods in technologically-sophisticated, climate-controlled greenhouses at the farm.
The farm is named for Boyd “Snuck” Fugal who along with his wife Venice, cultivated the land where the greenhouses are now located. The farm has been part of the Fugal family for over 100 years and the construction of the barn was a way to preserve a piece of their family history on the remaining acreage. The farm is now managed by “Snuck’s” granddaughter Page, and her husband Brian Westover. They chose hydroponic growing for this spot because of the small acreage left of the 160 acres originally farmed by Boyd. The Westover’s wanted to maximize production of the land in an environmentally friendly way. Their hydroponic operation will produce more than 4x the yield of traditional farming while using a fraction of the water required in the field. They will provide retail, restaurant, and institutional customers with a reliable, year-round, local supply of produce grown under the highest standards of quality and food safety.
